Chris and I went to Celine Dion at the Pepsi Center.

What an amazing show... The woman is incredible!

Two of the most beautiful women I know are my

mother in-law and her mother.

I marvel at their unconditional love and compassion.

They never cease to amaze me with all they are willing to do for their family.

I am inspired by their love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I cherish the time we spend together.

Our quiet moments in the Temple are moments I will always remember.

Their overwhelming willingness to serve anyone in need.

I'm thankful each day for their examples in my life.

Madeline, Rachel and Lydia decorated Steven's room with sticky notes; oh, about 2000 of them to be exact... Lydia, (in the grey jacket) asked Steven to Winter Formal. Of course he said yes... how could he not?

Another wonderful Christmas... Some of the things I'm most thankful for are my family and friends.

Look who's sixteen...

Steven Jeffrey Geyer came into the world on December 26, 1992 @ 5:50 pm; a little guy he wasn't. He came in weighing just under 10 lbs. Hence... his nickname; Bubba. Steven has always been a happy person. He lives life to the fullest. He has always enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, camping, anything that has to do with the outdoors. He has enjoyed playing roller hockey at times as well. One thing Steven is; is very competetive. He strives to be the best at everything he does.

Last summer, he decided he wanted go to Bull Riding School; he aspired to be a Pro Bull Rider... yikes! Needless to say, Chris and I could not afford the cost of the school. Knowing Steven, though, if he wants to do it, he'll find a way. At the moment, he's pretty wrapped up in his hunting, so the bull riding thing has been put on the back burner. At least until we make our annual trip to the Stock Show in January, where I'm sure the bull riding fever will spike again.

Since he was a little boy, Steven has always loved taking things apart and putting them back together. He loves when a home in our neighborhood is being renovated and one of those huge dumpsters is left infront of the home being renovated. He has found many treasures "Dumpster Diving". A couple of things he's done with someone elses trash is; an old two wheel golf cart; one you pull behind you, he brought it home, tore it apart and rebuilt it into a "fishing" trailer he can pull behind his bike. It looks just like a small utility trailer made out of metal mesh looking stuff... Steven took it to one of his friends house who has a welder and had the thing welded together. It has a couple of fishing rod holders a place to put a small cooler and room for whatever else he might need on his fishing adventures. Another thing he did was bring home a ton of old scrap wood and built his very own club house in the back yard, which is now being used for storage. It's not a small thing, it's probably the same size as Chris's utility shed. What an imagination... I love to see the things his comes up with.

Steven has always been a very sweet and sensitive young man. He loves spending time with his grandma's. He loves it when he gets alone time with them. Steven is great with his little cousins, he loves getting down to their level and playing with them. I get the feeling they think he's pretty cool too...

Chris and I are truly lucky to have been blessed with another amazing young man.

Daniel Sherman Geyer turns 20...

December 18, 1988...

What an amazing day this was for the Geyer family. On this day, we welcomed Daniel Sherman Geyer into the world and our family.

Daniel has always been quiet and very reserved.

As a little boy, he would sit back and observe before getting involved.

Some of my most fond memories of Daniel are when he was about 2 yrs old, he loved Big Bird. Chris and I bought him the movie; Follow That Bird. Daniel watched it over and over and over... Thank goodness he learned how to use the VCR because he just about wore us out wanting us to rewind it every two hours.

Another favorite memory of Daniel was his Peter Pan stage... he would be Peter Pan and I was Wendy. He'd tell me where to stand and what to say and no matter what; Peter always rescued Wendy from the HORRIBLE Capt. Hook.

When Daniel was about 3 I think; his daddy took him Ice Fishing for the first time. What an adventure they were about to have. Dad got Daniel all bundled up and off they went. Dad and Daniel made the long treck across the lake to the perfect spot. Dad drilled the hole, set the fishing rods and Daniel had to go potty... Dad tried to convince Daniel that it was ok to go potty on the ice, but Daniel would have no part of it. Well, needless to say, they packed every thing up, headed back across the lake to the truck, loaded up and went home. After Daniel went potty, he said; "Ok, I'm ready to go back now." Dad told him they would have to go back another time.

As Daniel has gotten older, his love of the outdoors; hunting, fishing and camping have become a very large part of his life.

Daniel is loving, kind, trustworthy, he is a good example to his younger brother, he has a great work ethic (just ask his customers and employers).
Chris and I are very proud of the young man Daniel has become.
